After Kurt and Blaine got back together, things were complicated, but undeniably great. Blaine felt…whole again. Knowing that Kurt forgave him was one of the best feelings he’d ever experienced, ranked only under their first time and their first ‘I love you’ and their first kiss.
It was the first day of summer break and Kurt had gotten a few days off to pick up Blaine and drive back to New York with Finn and Rachel in tow. His plane hadn’t come in until around midnight and he insisted that Blaine just wait until the morning to see him instead of picking him up at the airport, saying that even his dad wouldn’t be there, just Finn and Puck.
Of course, Blaine hadn’t slept a wink and had smiled at Kurt’s text saying he’d made it home and would see him soon. At around seven in the morning, he couldn’t take it anymore and decided to drive to the Hummel-Hudson’s and see him.
